Where in the World Are You?

by Elizabeth on August 4, 2009

Please send a note to all of your harpist friends all around the world and ask them to visit this web page.  I would like to get a rough count of how many harpists there are in the world.

Please add a comment  below with your first name, last initial and city/state and country.

Pass this on to every other harpist you know anywhere so we can get an accurate count.

Stay tuned for future posts for updates on the number of visitors who have left their locations.

Mine is a Highland lever harp with 26 strings. Her name is Nightingale Dreamer, and I’m just a beginner. Guess I’m really not a harpist . . . just a harper, or a wannabe.

I play a Dusty Strings lever harp (32 string.) I play mainly to keep my senior mind from getting too rusty – and this is a fun way to do it.

What a lovely idea to count the harpists of the world! I started harp lessons after retirement and though I am an amateur harpist I love having added harp playing to my list of hobbies. I have a Voyageur folk harp and play it daily for the solace and serenity it brings to me. I am not a performer by nature, but have done a few benefit concerts with our local Harp Circle.
